Medicare
Rebates may be available through Medicare if the appropriate referral is made by your family doctor or paediatrician. Speak to your family doctor about your child’s eligibility for the Chronic Disease Management Plan (Formerly the Enhanced Primary Care Plan). Eligible children can receive up to 5 Medicare subsidised sessions per calendar year.

For children with an Austism diagnosis, speak to your paediatrician about eligibility for the Helping Children with Autism Initiative Medicare items. Up to 20 sessions can be claimed for children under the age of 15 years (MBS item numbers 82010 and 82025).
