Solveigh Baramili

Director/ Senior Occupational Therapist

Bsc OT, Grad Dip Ed

Solveigh is a nationally registered and highly experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 14 years of clinical practice across the private, not-for-profit, and government sectors in Western Australia and New South Wales. She also holds a postgraduate qualification in Primary Education, bringing a unique dual perspective to her work with children, families, and educators.

Known for her fun, dynamic approach, Solveigh is deeply passionate about supporting children to thrive—both in and out of the classroom. She believes in partnering closely with families, teachers, and support people to deliver therapy that is meaningful, engaging, and tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Solveigh has extensive experience in the assessment and intervention of children aged 2 to 17 years, with or without a formal diagnosis. Her practice is centred around neurodiversity-affirming principles, and she primarily works with neurodivergent children and their support networks.

Solveigh commonly supports children with diagnoses such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disorders and Difficulties, Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia), and intellectual giftedness.

With her background in education, Solveigh has a special interest in challenges related to school participation and performance. Alongside her strong advocacy for inclusive learning environments, Solveigh focuses on supporting school readiness, fine and gross motor development, visual perception, organisation, attention and concentration, sensory processing, and social and emotional wellbeing.

Solveigh is also committed to empowering those who support children. She regularly delivers professional development workshops for clinicians, educators, and parents, and contributes to the next generation of occupational therapists as a sessional academic at a local university, where she tutors students in Developmental Neuroscience.

Outside of work, Solveigh enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children, swimming, and dancing.
